Awareness Session on ‘Securing our Elders from Non-Communicable Diseases’
Coinciding with World Diabetes Day on the 14th of November 2022, an awareness session on ‘Securing our Elders from Non-Communicable Diseases’ was conducted with special attention on managing such diseases to ensure a better life. This was conducted for DFCC staff and their families under the “Rise and Shine” programme. Dr. Dilhar Samaraweera, Founder President Sri Lanka Association of Geriatric Medicine and Consultant Physician at Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila, conducted this beneficial programme.
